RAWALPINDI: In the second such incident within a week, a traffic warden killed his wife after a domestic dispute.
The incident took place in Pindori area within the limits of New Town police station where the suspect Faraz Ahmed shot dead his wife after a domestic dispute.
The couple often quarrelled over domestic issues after which the enraged husband shot dead his wife Khadijah. The suspect has since been arrested.
The victim’s post-mortem has been conducted whereas the investigation has also collected evidence from the crime scene. A case has been lodged by the victim’s brother Sadaqat against the main suspect Faraz Ahmed and his brother.
Police said they are investigating the matter and the suspect will be dealt in accordance with the law. A case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code has been lodged.
