Singer Taylor Swift reportedly will make her Marvel debut in ‘Deadpool 3’.
If reports are to be believed, award-winning singer/songwriter Taylor Swift will make a cameo appearance as Dazzler in the upcoming movie.
Dazzler is one of several X-Men characters rumored to join Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in the movie.    Â
The online report, courtesy of ‘The DisInsider,’ claims that the award-winning singer/songwriter will make a cameo appearance as Dazzler in the upcoming movie.
Taron Egerton, who will play a different version of Wolverine, and the comebacks of Famke Janssen and Halle Berry as Jean Grey and Storm, respectively, are other names that are believed to appear in the next threequel. However, none of these casting speculations have been verified.
Meanwhile, Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, has long acknowledged his admiration for Dazzler. Erik Davis of Fandango quoted the casting rumor on Twitter and added, “Many years ago, I asked Kevin Feige which character he would want to focus on if he were to ever direct his own Marvel movie. Dazzler, he said. He is a huge admirer.
Of course, Swift is no stranger to acting. The Grammy Award winner has starred in star-studded romantic comedy film ‘Valentine’s Day’ (2010), musical fantasy film ‘Cats’ (2019) and most recently in David O. Russell’s ‘Amsterdam’ (2022).
The 33-year-old star is currently on the road for her sold-out ‘The Eras Tour’. She recently announced that ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, her next re-recorded album, would be released on October 27.
