ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the ‘selected’ government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is afraid of former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s address on social media.

In a series of tweets, the PML-N spokesperson said that Nawaz Sharif will address the opposition’s All Party Conference (APC) via video link at 1:00 pm today. Party supremo’s address will also go live on a social-networking website, she added.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the countdown of selected government has begun.  She said, “The spirit of the nation is telling who is the Prime Minister of Pakistan?”

“The whole of Pakistanis are united against the selected, corrupt, incompetent, flour, sugar thief government”, she added.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said today, the threats of the selected government will not affect the media. Freedom of the press and the media fighting for civil liberties are also being tested today.

“Fascist and dictatorial tactics to stop coverage can no longer stem the tide of public hatred against the government,” she said.

The major opposition parties are set to hold a joint meeting to devise an anti-government strategy at a five-star hotel in Islamabad today.
