School uniform requirement abolished in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has abolished the requirement of school uniforms at the primary level as part of new reforms aimed at improving education and increasing the literacy rate in the province.

According to Geo News, the decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, where comprehensive reforms for educational development were approved.

During the meeting, it was also decided to introduce a double-shift system in 900 schools across the province to expand access to education and improve literacy levels.

Officials further agreed to eliminate the “tat culture” from all functional government schools and provide desks to every school to improve basic learning facilities.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that these reforms are aimed at improving the overall quality of education and ensuring better learning conditions for students across Balochistan.
