The Sindh government has directed all education boards across the province to announce Matriculation results by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31, according to the Education Department spokesperson.
The annual examinations began in April and are scheduled to conclude in mid-June. This year’s exams have faced controversy amid allegations of bribery, question paper leaks and administrative irregularities.
The decision was made during a meeting of education boards chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Ismail Rahoo.
The meeting reviewed the conduct of annual Matric and Intermediate examinations held across the province, with representatives from all boards briefing participants on examination arrangements and progress in their respective divisions.
During the meeting, Rahoo instructed all boards to ensure the timely release of results to facilitate students seeking admission to higher classes and institutions. Officials also informed the meeting that results for Class 9 and Class 11 examinations are expected to be announced by August 31.
The minister stressed the need to strengthen transparency, merit and efficiency in the examination system, assuring boards of the government’s full support in improving educational standards.
The meeting was further informed that several cases had been registered in Karachi against individuals accused of violating Section 144 during the examinations.
