KARACHI: A finance manager and owner of a private company has been robbed at gunpoint and managed to escape after snatching Rs.1 crore in broad daylight.
According to details, the robbery took place in the Bahadurabad area of Karachi where a major snatching incident took place at Char Minar Chowrangi. Two accused on a motorcycle looted Rs 1 crore from the finance manager and fled. The search against the accused is still going on.
A case of the incident was registered at the New Town police station. The plaintiff said that when he entered the street with cash from the bank, two armed accused came on a motorcycle wearing shalwar kameez and looted a bag full of Rs 10 million, and fled.
Police in this regard said that they have obtained CCTV footage and other evidence of the incident. The plaintiff’s finance manager said that he can identify the robbers when they come forward. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to the text of the case registered in the New Town police station, an FIR was registered in the incident yesterday. The plaintiff states that his name is Naseer Ahmed and he works as a finance manager in Maxim Group of Companies.

According to the case, the plaintiff went to Bank Al Habib near Char Minar Chowrangi at 2.30 pm yesterday with his company owner Bilal Tanveer and got Rs 10 million cash from the bank. He sat in the car with cash and we were robbed in the bank street.
According to the statement of the finance manager, two persons on a motorcycle came forward in the bank street. One had a pistol in his hand. He was asked to open the windshield by pointing a pistol at the windshield. My company owner opened the door.
According to the statement, the armed boy asked to hand over the bag. He said that he handed him a bag full of Rs 10 million, after which the dacoits ran towards the main road. He has requested that legal action should be taken against the accused.
