ATTOCK: Police have arrested a religious teacher who has allegedly raped and killed his 10-year-old student in the Faqeerabad area of Attock.
The accused Imran, who is also a memorizer of the Quran and prayer leader in Jamia Masjid Bilal, belongs to Kohat but had been living in Attock for a long time.
According to sources the accused used to go to people’s houses to teach their children. The murdered girl was one of them. On the incident day, the accused went to the victim’s home to teach her Quran.
The accused first allegedly raped the minor and later killed her and dumped the dead body in the old funeral home of Faqeerabad. During the sexual assault, the girl’s backbone got broken and then the accused attacked her with a brick.
Later he also started searching for the missing girl along with her family members, when police over suspicion arrested him and he confessed. The accused further revealed that he had raped and killed two girls in Kohat district too.
The victim’s family has appealed to the high authority to provide them justice and give exemplary punishment to the accused.
