KARACHI: Light and heavy rain has been predicted for the next 2 days in Sindh capital, experts have also instructed the citizens to be careful.
According to the details, there will be light and heavy rain in Karachi from tomorrow morning till Saturday night. The Meteorological Department said that there may be hailstorms in Gadap Town, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Steel Town, Airport, and the Malir area.
Citizens have been instructed to be careful during rains and hailstorms in particular. Citizens may face difficulties in transportation due to rainwater standing in places, citizens should avoid unnecessary travel.
The Meteorological Department said that dry and cold winds will blow in Karachi during the rain, while the temperature in the suburbs of the city may drop to 9 to 10 degrees Celsius. Chances of hail will remain between 20 and 30 percent.
Apart from Karachi, a series of westerly winds have entered Balochistan, which is expected to increase in intensity. The possibility of rain with wind and thunder has also been shown in different areas of Sindh from tonight.
Experts further said that there will be rain in various cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Tharparkar, Thatta, Sukkur, and Ghotki. Cold winds are also likely to blow during rain.
