The vengeful manner in which Senator Swati is being treated is shocking & condemnable. He was moved to PIMS early morning after suffering severe chest pains & breathing issues. While test results were awaited, Quetta police got him discharged & took him away endangering his life

It may be recalled that the 75 year old PTI Senator Azam Swati was remanded into judicial custody by Islamabad Court the other day when FIA declared it needed no more questioning. However, this morning his son took to Twitter and reported that his father had been taken into custody by Balochistan Police and shifted to Quetta.
Imran Khan said “equally outrageous is what is being considered such a great crime would in entire civilised world be considered his democratic right to criticize.”
The PTI Chairman demanded immediate release of Azam Swati, adding that “sad to see our justice system unwilling to stop repeated violations of Swati’s basic human rights.”
