LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 7 terrorists from different cities of Punjab while taking action in view of terror concerns.
According to a CTD spokesman, the arrest of terrorists has been carried out from Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Gujranwala. The arrested terrorists are related to banned Al-Qaeda and TTP and bullets and cash have been recovered.
CTD officials said that the arrested terrorists have been identified as Abrar-ul-Haq, Abdul Rehman, Umeer, Imran, Ashfaq, Ayab, and Muawiya, and further investigation is underway after registering cases against the terrorists.

Officials said that 18 suspects have been arrested during 139 combing operations this week, and 8523 people have been questioned in combing operations.
Officials further said that CTD is committed to rooting out the scourge of terrorism, following the goal of a safe Punjab.
