ISLAMABAD: Nationwide roundup and crackdown against PTI leaders and workers continue as the police arrested Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehryar Afridi.
According to the details, Islamabad Police arrested the former Minister of State under MPO from the Sector F8 area of the federal capital.
Yesterday, the police detained the PTI leader and former provincial minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan. Sources said that the police detained him, from Murree Road. Chohan is accused of setting fire and inciting workers, burning and vandalizing the Liaquat Bagh Murree Road.

So far, dozens of PTI workers and several leaders have been arrested and investigated, including Ali Zaidi, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, and others.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan was also arrested, but PDM leaders protested in front of the Supreme Court yesterday after the decision of the Supreme Court came out.
