KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) once again witnessed a bearish trend today (Thursday) as the benchmark index was closed at 46,142 after dropping by 625 points or 1.34 percent.
According to details, 570.78 million shares worth Rs23.20 billion were traded in the market on Thursday while due to a reduction in the prices of shares the investors were deprived of Rs76 billion.
Similarly, market capitalization came down from Rs8368 billion to Rs8292 billion. Among other indices, the KMI-30 Index lost 1251.32 points to close at 76,692.88, while the KSE All Share Index also lost 288.86 points, ending at 31,759.82.
