ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will leave for Saudi Arabia today on a three-day visit.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Finance, Information, and Economic Affairs. Prime Minister and Ministers will perform Umrah during the visit.
The Prime Minister is expected to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discuss matters of mutual interest. The two leaders will also discuss regional and global developments.
The prime minister will discuss issues related to Saudi investment in various projects in Pakistan. The meeting is said to finalize the $1 billion investment in Recodek and other projects.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have long-standing fraternal ties rooted in religious and cultural affinity. The people of Pakistan have great respect and reverence for the Custodian of the Two Harams, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The leadership of both countries is committed to furthering brotherly relations and making economic and investment relations mutually beneficial.
