“The astute leadership of Imran Khan ended the dynastic rule driven by crony capitalism & nepotism. The protocol culture of family members of elected officials, using taxpayers money to accumulate personal assets instead of building the nation,” he tweeted.
Earlier, Ali Zaidi said that most of the concessions were given to K-Electric in Karachi during the tenure of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Zaidi said that in 2008 when the current chairman of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was busy playing, K-Electric’s gas load management approvals were given by the federal cabinet of the PPP government.
Ali Zaidi said that it was interesting that the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) had raised the issue of K Electric’s tariff in 2009 during the PPP regime. “K Electric should prove its innocence by responding to Bilawal’s stupid allegations,” he further said.
