PM to discuss 12-point agenda in federal cabinet meeting today

PM Imran calls for national unity to ride out coronavirus crisis

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today.

PM Imran Khan will discuss a 12-point agenda at the Prime Minister’s office. The political and economic situation of the country will be reviewed in the meeting of the federal cabinet.

The federal cabinet will also be briefed on the removal of encroachments in Islamabad while the cabinet will approve the nomination of directors for the PIA board. The last meeting of the federal cabinet had decided to crack down on those who were raising sugar prices.

It was informed at the last meeting that the government was taking steps to reduce food prices while importing wheat would end the artificial rise in flour prices. The first batch of wheat has arrived while the rest will arrive soon.
