MICHIGAN: An F-16 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in the US state of Michigan, but the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft using a parachute.
According to reports, the incident occurred while the aircraft was carrying out a routine training mission. US military officials said the pilot was out of danger and had been taken to a medical facility for treatment.
The US authorities have not yet released any official details regarding the cause of the crash or provided an assessment of the financial or military losses. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
