PCB announces domestic contract categories

PCB announces setting up of sanctuary for paramedics

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced domestic contract categories for 192 players.

PCB officials said on the occasion that the players have been selected for the contract categories in a transparent manner, out of 192 players, 10 cricketers have been awarded A-plus category.

Officials said that 38 players were included in the A category of the contract, while the B category consists of 47 players. Category-C consists of a total of 71 players. According to PCB officials, 26 players have been placed in Category-D.

According to the details, A-plus category players will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 1.5 lakh while A-category players will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 85,000.

PCB officials said that B-category players will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 75,000 and C-category players will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 65,000.

A monthly stipend of Rs 40,000 will be given to 26 players in the D category.
