KARACHI: A man, dressed in a burqa but with no trousers, was beaten by shopkeepers for harassing women in Karachi’s Liaquatabad market, according to the police.
According to details, the suspect, a resident of Garden, left his pants on the front seat of a car parked nearby. The women in the market complained that he had been harassing them and brushing up against them.
In this regard, the shopkeepers caught him and started beating him up. He was handed over to the police later. A police spokesperson informed that the man, who works as a salesman at a private company, is married with two children.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against him at Liaquatabad’s Model Police Station. He was released from police custody after a Karachi court approved his bail petition.
