ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan stands firmly united with Kashmiris.
The foreign minister also acknowledged the struggle of Kashmiris that they are not alone in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in his statement that the world is witnessing blatant rights violations in occupied Kashmir. “Pakistan Army and people stand tall with Kashmiris and the day is not far away when nawafil will be offered at Jama Masjid Srinagar by people of Kashmir,” he maintained.
Earlier on Monday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed solidarity with Kashmiris during a visit to the Chiri Kot Sector of Line of Control.
Qureshi on this occasion said that one of the purposes of his visit is to assure Kashmiris that Pakistan’s entire nation and armed forces stand with them. He added that a clear message is being sent to the Indian government that Kashmiris have rejected Indian actions of 5th August and the struggle of innocent Kashmiris for the right to self-determination will continue until they get freedom.
