LAHORE: The One-Day International matches between Pakistan and the West Indies have been shifted to Multan.
The three-match series part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League will take place on the dates announced on 8, 10, and June 12.
The training camp of the Pakistan cricket team will be held in Lahore from June 1-4 before the squad moves to Multan.
Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan, who are presently playing county cricket in the United Kingdom, will arrive on June 1 and will join the camp the next day.
The West Indies squad will arrive in Islamabad on June 6 and will travel to Multan on a charter flight. The city of Multan will hold an international match after 14 years.
The matches were initially scheduled to be held in Rawalpindi. The PCB did not mention the reason for the change in venue but the decision has been made due to the ongoing political tensions in the country.
