ISLAMABAD: Around 639 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 4 more civilians have died in the last 24 hours.
According to the data released by the NCOC, the total number of deaths from coronavirus has risen to 30,291 while the number of people infected with the virus across the country has risen to 1,516,789. The death rate remains at 2 percent.
During the last 24 hours, 36,241 tests were conducted across Pakistan while the proportion of positive cases was 1.76%. The number of tests done so far has reached 26,785,763 while 707 patients of coronavirus are in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 581 patients across the country have succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,468,449. The active cases of coronavirus have risen to 18,049.
Around 570,934 in Sindh, 530,279 in Punjab, 217,690 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,736 in Islamabad, 35,403 in Balochistan, 43,149 in Azad Kashmir, and 11,598 in Gilgit-Baltistan cases of coronavirus were reported.
In Punjab, 13,535 people died due to coronavirus, 8,085 in Sindh, 6,294 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,019 in Islamabad, 790 in Azad Kashmir, 377 in Balochistan, and 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
