ISLAMABAD: At least 170 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country while no deaths have been reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours. The condition of 291 patients of coronavirus is critical.
According to figures released by the National Institutes of Health, a total of 1,526,093 people across the country have been infected with the coronavirus, while 30,361 people have lost their lives to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 28,967 coronavirus tests were performed across the country, with a positive case rate of 0.58 percent. The number of tests done so far has reached 276,062,867 while 291 patients with coronavirus are in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 70 patients with coronavirus have been infected with the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,486,534. The number of active cases in Corona has increased to 9,198.
Around 576,037 cases were reported in Sindh, 55,267 in Punjab, 219,201 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 135,110 in Islamabad, 35,479 in Balochistan, 43,283 in Azad Kashmir and 11,716 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Punjab, 13,558 people died due to coronavirus. 8,097 civilians were killed in Sindh, 6,322 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,023 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan, and 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
