ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker’s ruling suo motu notice will be heard in the Supreme Court today in which counsel for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker Naeem Bukhari, Imtiaz Siddiqui, and Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan will give arguments.
According to details, a five-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial is hearing the case. Remarking during the last hearing, the apex court said that the no-confidence motion was likely to succeed.
The Supreme Court remarked that the day the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was to be voted on, came rolling. According to the petitioners, the case is a violation of the Constitution of Pakistan on which the Supreme Court can intervene.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that efforts are being made to complete the case as soon as possible and the case is to be disposed of. Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, and Justice Jamal Mandokhel.
Earlier, the apex court had rejected PTI lawyer Babar Awan’s request for an in-camera briefing. PML-N lawyer Makhdoom Ali Khan had also suggested to the court that an in-camera briefing on foreign conspiracy be sought from the intelligence chief.
