HYDERABAD: Authorities have released another batch of 303 more Afghan citizens, including 63 women and 71 children, from jails in Hyderabad.
This came within a week after More than 500 Afghan migrants, including women and children, have been released from a jail in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi.

The Taliban-controlled Afghan embassy in Islamabad announced that 303 people, including 63 women and 71 children, have been released from Hyderabad prison in Pakistan’s Sindh province. This embassy said that these Afghan citizens will be sent back to Afghanistan.

These Afghan citizens had been detained in Karachi and Hyderabad after they stayed on in Pakistan even after the expiry of their residential permits.
The release was secured after officials of the Afghan foreign ministry said that Kabul would bear the traveling expenses of these Afghans from Pakistan to Afghanistan.
Further, these Afghans would be provided food, clothes and travelling allowance to travel to Afghanistan.
