Electricity prices have been reduced as the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued an official notification announcing a decrease of 48 paisa per unit.
The reduction has been made under the monthly fuel adjustment mechanism and will be applicable to current month’s bills.
The price cut will apply to all power consumers across the country, including K-Electric customers.

According to NEPRA, this reduction will provide over Rs5 billion in relief to consumers nationwide.
The relief will be a sigh of relief for the consumers.
