The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the T20 series against Bangladesh. Five matches will be played between the two teams.
According to details, the PCB has announced the T20 series schedule against Bangladesh; five T20 matches will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to the PCB, Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium will host international matches after 17 years. The first two matches against Bangladesh will be held on May 25 and 27 in Faisalabad.
The last three matches of the series are scheduled in Lahore on May 30, June 1, and June 3, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s announcement.
The tour initially consisted of 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches, but keeping the T20 World Cup in mind, 2 additional T20 matches have been added in place of the ODIs. According to the PCB, both boards have mutually agreed to play 2 additional T20 matches instead of the ODIs.
In an earlier T20 International match between Pakistan and Bangladesh on November 6, 2022, during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Adelaide, Australia, Bangladesh batted first and scored 127 runs for 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Pakistan successfully chased the target, reaching 128 runs for 5 wickets in 18.1 overs, thereby winning the match by 5 wickets.
