RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army on Friday shot down 8th Indian spy drone in Khanjar Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) for violating airspace.
Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar confirmed that “Pakistan Army troops shot down an Indian spying quadcopter in Khanjar Sector along LOC.”
“The quadcopter had intruded 500 meters on Pakistan’s side of the LOC,” Major Gen Iftikhar added, noting that it was the eighth Indian quadcopter shot down by Pakistan Army troops this year.

Earlier, the army downed an Indian surveillance drone that had crossed over the LoC into the Rakh Chakri sector on 27 May.
According to a statement then by Director General ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar, the quadcopter had intruded 650 meters into Pakistani territory.

On May 29, Pakistan Army troops shot down an Indian spy drone after it intruded into Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) from across the restive Line of Control (LoC), the military’s media wing.
