ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister and Senator Shibli Faraz has said that the opposition leaders, under the banner of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), were striving to protect their personal interests.
In a series of tweets today (Sunday), the information minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was ‘taabedaar’ (servile) for the people and a ‘thaanedaar’ (cop) for the thieves and looters of the country.
The statement came after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s said that the prime minister’s “only qualification is taabedaari (being servile)”.
The federal minister further asserted that Maryam Nawaz and other PDM leaders were covert siblings who overtly fight. “Those who were criticizing each other in the past have now gathered in Larkana which exposes their real faces to the people,” he added.

He also said, “The souls of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his daughter, Benazir, must be suffering as the worst opponents of their philosophy and ideology have imposed themselves at their home today.”
“Whenever there would be a talk about corruption, fraudulence, horse-trading, and the ‘chamak and briefcase’ politics [a reference to bribery] in the country, Nawaz Sharif’s name would come up,” he concluded.
