RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has launched a video teaser of its patriotic anthem to celebrate Pakistan Day.
The short 15-second clip features singers Ali Zafar and Aima Baig encouraging the people of Pakistan to remain united. It also highlights the struggle people faced by people who migrated to Pakistan during partition.
The promo also shows how people belonging to different religions, languages, and cultures are living happily and are holding the Pakistani flag.
The tagline ‘aik hai qoum aur ik manzil’ (One nation, one destination) reminds people to be united. The whole song is expected to be released around 23rd March.
Moreover, it also shows various historic visuals of the nation while clips of Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s speeches, historic monuments, and children rallying with the national flag have also been included to commemorate national heroes.
Pakistan Day is celebrated on March 23 to commemorate the historic day in 1940 when the Pakistan Resolution was passed in Lahore demanding a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent.
