The first official teaser of Squid Game Season 2 has finally been released.
Netflix shared an announcement teaser compiling the first-look footage of all the movies and TV shows set to be released on the streaming giant this year. One of them was the anticipated season 2 of the famous South Korean drama were released.

The 17-second clip shows Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun, a.k.a. Player 456, leaving the airport as he threatens someone on the call. Lee Jung-jae can be seen saying in the clip, ”I will find you. No matter what it takes.” At the end of season 1, the audience can see red-haired Seong Gi boarding the flight when he gets the call to participate in the game.

The photos shared by Netflix showed the return of the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), the Recruiter (Gong Yoo), and the first look at Park Gyu-young, who is the new addition to the second season with a caption: ”Player 456 is ready to do whatever it takes in Squid Game season 2, coming this year 🦑.”
Season 2
Written and directed by Hwang, Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Gong Yoo, and Wi Ha-jun are all set to reprise their roles.
On the other hand, the new cast members include Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Jo Yu-ri, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, and Won Ji-an.
Release date
Until now, no release date has been confirmed; however, as per reports, season 2 will launch somewhere later in 2024.
