LAHORE: The accountability court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif’s wife Nusrat Shehbaz and daughter Rabia Imran in a money laundering and assets cases.
The Lahore accountability court ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to produce Nusrat Shehbaz and Rabia Imran. Arrest warrants have been issued for Nusrat Shahbaz and Rabia Imran for not appearing in court
The accountability court granted the request of Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter Jawariya Ali for exemption from permanent attendance. During the hearing, the Foreign Office did not submit a report on Salman Shehbaz and Haroon Yousuf. The court has summoned the responsible officer of the Foreign Office at the next hearing along with the record.
Last week, the accountability court had issued bailable arrest warrants for Shehbaz Sharif’s wife Nusrat Shahbaz, and Rabia Imran in a money laundering and assets case.

The court had directed the NAB in the money laundering case against Shehbaz Sharif’s family and others to find out the reason for Salman Shahbaz’s stay abroad and inform the court.
The court had ordered Nusrat Shehbaz and Rabia Imran to reappear at the next hearing. The court had granted exemption from the attendance of Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter Jawariya Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz.
On the other hand, the accountability court has remanded Shahbaz Sharif till 13th October in the money laundering and assets in excess of income case. A 14-day physical remand was sought by the NAB, which was granted by the court.
