The first look of Netflix’s series titled ‘Heeramandi’ has just been unveiled.
The first look was unveiled today by Ted Sarandos, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Netflix and Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The caption on the first teaser read, “Another time, another era, another magical world created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali we can’t wait to be a part of. Here is a glimpse into the beautiful and intriguing world of #Heeramandi.”

Heeramandi features Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
The much-awaited series is a project of Bollwyood’s famous director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Heeramandi will explore stories of courtesans and the hidden cultural reality of Heeramandi, a dazzling district, during pre-independent India. It’s a series about love, betrayal, succession, and politics in the brothels (kothas).
