LAHORE: Pakistan have secured third position in the ongoing international kickboxing event in Iran.
In the 6-nation international kickboxing event, Pakistan kickboxing team won 2 gold medals, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals and secured the third position.
Nazar Khan won the gold medal by defeating Iran in the 51 kg category final. Muhammad Sohail won the gold medal by knocking out the Iranian player in 63 kg category. He has also won the title of Best Fighter.
Pakistani kickboxer Owais won the silver medal in the 57 kg category while the Iranian boxer stood first. Hameedullah also won silver media in 71 kg category, while Khalilur Rehman and Ehsanullah managed to get bronze medals. In the event, Iran secured the first position, Afghanistan second position and Pakistan third position.
