ISLAMABAD: Former Indian cricket Navjot Singh Sidhu accepted Pakistan’s invitation to attend the grand ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor.
According to sources, Senator of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Faisal Javed approached and extended an invite to Sidhu and formally asked him to take part in the grand opening ceremony in the November on the directives of incumbent premier Imran Khan.

Navjot Singh Sidhu did not only accept the invitation but expressed his gratitude for being invited to this historic event.
On this occasion, Sidhu also said that Pakistan sent a positive message by constructing Kartarpur Corridor. The sikh community is waiting early to visit the holy sites.

It is pertinent to mention that for the floors of the shrine, that are wide-spread on approximately 10 acres. The shrine will be receiving electricity from Shakar Garh grid station.
To ensure proper security, CCTV cameras have also been installed across the shrine. Apart from this, border terminal building and temporary guesthouses have also constructed to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims.
