The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) International has issued directives to its party workers, urging them to remain vigilant regarding the country’s political situation and focus their attention on party instructions.
The MQM International’s Rabita Committee (Coordination Committee) has instructed workers residing overseas to prepare themselves for a future return to Pakistan.
Similarly, the Committee has also called upon workers currently residing in Pakistan to be ready to assemble at a specified place on a specific day, in accordance with the Constitution and the law, as soon as they receive directions from the party center.
The statement emphasizes that workers should be prepared to gather immediately upon receiving such a call from the party leadership.
This announcement was issued on December 3, 2025, when the Founding Leader of the MQM, Altaf Hussain, called for a global video conference of workers in view of the fast-changing political scenario in Pakistan.
The meeting was held on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 PM London time (4:00 AM in Pakistan). Altaf Hussain provided his views and guidance to the workers regarding the political situation, following which the Central Coordination Committee (CCC) issued the operational instructions.
This information is clear from the announcements posted on MQM’s official social media accounts (such as @OfficialMQM) and MQM Television (@MQMTelevision) on December 3-4, 2025.
This directive suggests that the MQM International may be anticipating significant political developments or planning a major mobilization effort in the near future.
