LAHORE (Web Desk): A startling vehicle registration case has emerged in Lahore, where 2,354 vehicles, including motorcycles, rickshaws and cars, have reportedly been registered in the name of a single individual, raising questions about possible irregularities.
According to a traffic police spokesperson, the matter came to light during a general checking operation on Hall Road, where officers were inspecting vehicle number plates and documents. During the inspection, a motorcycle was found to be registered in the name of a man identified as Muhammad Usman.
Further checks reportedly revealed that a total of 2,354 vehicles, including motorcycles, rickshaws and cars, were registered under his name.
Officials said the motorcycle was impounded and taken to Qila Gujjar Singh Police Station. The Safe City Authority has also been formally informed to help identify the vehicles’ legitimate owners and determine whether any individuals were involved in possible irregularities.
