Morning rain turns weather pleasant in Karachi
KARACHI: Sindh’s capital woke up to pleasant weather and wet streets after overnight rain in different parts of the city during the wee hours of Sunday.
The rain was reported in Defence, Korangi, Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Orangi Town, Gulbahar and other areas. Power outages were also reported in several parts of the city after the rain.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the rain will continue for three more days in Karachi from Friday.

A rain alert has also been issued for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A hailstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Balochistan, the statement said.
The PMD Office advised people to take precautionary steps as landslides are expected in Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
