Rainfall forecast in several parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

According to the PMD, most cities are likely to remain cloudy on Thursday. Rainfall is expected in Karachi, Abbottabad, Narowal, Gujranwala, Mansehra, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Haripur, Mirpur Khas, Umar Kot and Muzaffarabad.

Rain is expected with strong winds in different parts of the country for the next few days including Sawat, Badin, Thatta and Dadu.

Met department has predicted rain in Kashmir including Muzaffarabad from Friday to Tuesday. Besides, northern areas including Gilgit-Baltistan will also witness heavy rain with strong winds.

All concerned authorities have been advised to remain alert and take precautionary measures during the forecast period.
