Hamza Khan returns home after wining Under-15 title

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s youngster Mohammad Hamza Khan, who won the Under-15 title at the British Junior Open Squash Championship, returns home.
Hamza Khan, along with the other players and sports staff reached the New Islamabad airport and was warmly welcomed. On the occasion Pakistan Squash Federation officials were present.
Hamza Khan, who won the title of British squash championship in 15 berserk matches, wore floral by squash federation officials.
Pakistan’s youngster Mohammad Hamza Khan outclassed Yousuf Sheikhof England to win the Under-15 title at the British Junior Open Squash Championship. Looking in extremely good form, the 14-year-old Hamza tamed Yusuf in just 16 minutes, registering 11-4, 11-3, 11-7 triumph in the final at Birmingham.

Overall Pakistani juniors showed glowing performance at the British Open Junior championship. Hamza’s excellent show, compatriots Mohammad Ammad and Noor Zaman also reached the U-15 and U-17 semi-finals, respectively.
 The success of Hamza gave a new life to Pakistan squash as the country regained the title after eight long years. In 2012 Israr Ahmed won the championship for Pakistan.
