MUMBAI: The leader of India’s major opposition party, Congress, Nana Falgunrao Patole has severely criticized the Indian Prime Minister, saying that Narendra Modi is afraid of defeat in the upcoming general elections.
According to details, Patole said that the BJP government is spending crores in the name of publicity for Narendra Modi’s rally. “Modi should also address inflation, unemployment, and farmer suicides during his rally address,” he said.
President Maharashtra Pradesh Committee said that during the G20 summit, Mumbai airport was cordoned off. “The actual situation of the coastal city was hidden from the international community. There are many burning issues in India but Narendra Modi does not talk about them,” he said.
Nana Falgunrao Patole said that Narendra Modi has to discuss serious issues. “In Maharashtra alone, 3000 farmers went bankrupt in 1 year. Rising inflation is making people’s lives miserable. When will Prime Minister Narendra Modi open his lips on these burning issues?” he said.
He said that the BJP government is strangling the farmers. Unemployment is increasing enormously. “If they see defeat in the upcoming elections, will BJP remember Muslims? They have no love for Muslims. Modi’s only religion is to gain power by any means, he maintained.
