A scandal involving inappropriate videos has emerged following the arrest of Professor Abdul Haseeb of Malakand University for attempting to sexually assault a student, which has shaken the administration of the educational institution.

According to details, the incident came to light after a student filed a complaint, alleging that the professor harassed her and violated her personal information.

During the investigation, police recovered several inappropriate videos and images from the professor’s mobile phone, indicating immoral conduct with other female students.

One student also alleged that the professor requested videos from students in exchange for giving them higher marks in exams.

The incident was reported on February 4, and initial information revealed that the university administration attempted to cover up the matter. However, Malakand University has suspended Professor Abdul Haseeb and established a committee to address the harassment allegations.

The university administration has assured that further action will be taken if the allegations are proven. This matter has sparked serious debate not only within the university but also at the societal level, emphasizing the need for the protection of female students and ethical behavior in educational institutions.

The severity of this scandal has also drawn the attention of the provincial government, which has formed an investigative committee to thoroughly examine the issue.

This incident raises new questions about what measures are being taken to prevent incidents of sexual harassment in educational institutions and what further steps are needed to ensure the safety of female students. The affected student stated, “Professor Abdul Haseeb has been harassing me for several months; I have reported this to the university administration multiple times.”

The university administration stated in a press release that a meeting of the harassment committee was held, where the affected student’s account was heard. The committee announced that it would present its report and recommendations to the university syndicate.
