Dollar Holds at Rs278 as Fresh Forex Rates for Pakistan Emerge

KARACHI: The latest foreign exchange rates for Pakistan were released on Thursday, September 10, 2026, with the US dollar quoted at Rs278 for buying and Rs278.50 for selling in the open market.

According to the latest open market rates, the British pound was available at Rs375.75 for buying and Rs378.70 for selling, while the euro was quoted at Rs322.48 for buying and Rs325.46 for selling.

The Saudi riyal was priced at Rs74.05 for buying and Rs74.70 for selling, while the UAE dirham stood at Rs75.75 for buying and Rs76.58 for selling.

Meanwhile, the Canadian dollar was quoted at Rs198.82 for buying and Rs204.81 for selling in the open market. The Australian dollar was available at Rs199.05 for buying and Rs202.47 for selling.

The Chinese yuan was quoted at Rs38.27 for buying and Rs38.99 for selling, while the Japanese yen stood at Rs1.7339 for buying and Rs1.8337 for selling.

Interbank Market Rates

In the interbank market, the US dollar was quoted at Rs277.25 for bank buying and Rs277.75 for bank selling.

The euro stood at Rs322.65 for buying and Rs323.23 for selling, while the British pound was quoted at Rs375.83 for buying and Rs376.50 for selling.

The Saudi riyal was available at Rs73.86 for buying and Rs74 for selling. The UAE dirham was quoted between Rs75.75 and Rs76.58.

Among other major currencies, the Swiss franc stood at Rs342.68 for buying and Rs343.30 for selling, while the Singapore dollar was quoted at Rs219.34 for buying and Rs219.74 for selling.

The Chinese yuan was quoted at Rs41.35 for buying and Rs41.41 for selling in the interbank market.
