ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that all possible measures were being taken to provide the nation with basic commodities.
While chairing a meeting on measures to control the prices of commodities, the prime minister said, that the government would provide maximum relief to the people despite the difficult economic situations.
In this regard, the prime minister directed all the ministries and the departments concerned to present a report on the implementation of measures within two days.
According to the prime minister, the government is well aware of the difficulties people have to face due to the difficult economic situation.
He further said that the government allocated 190 billion rupees for the Ehsaas program and the health insurance worth 720,000 was being provided to the needy under Sehat Insaf Card.
Moreover, Imran Khan will chair a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee meeting in the evening to discuss the political situation in the country. In this regard, he has directed all the core committee members to ensure their attendance at the meeting.
