ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that he did not think Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif would return to the country.
During an interview in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that Shehbaz Sharif would stay in London and would not return to the country.
Fawad Chaudhry underlined the need of a better working relationship between the government and the opposition for stability in the country.
He also praised the cooperation of the opposition on the all-important legislation in the National Assembly including the bills related to Service Chief’s Extension.
Chaudhry said that the opposition acted wisely on the matter on the amendments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law and appointments in the Election Commission of Pakistan.
He earlier today said that Pakistan made progress in technology but lagged behind due to geographical conditions. He blamed India behind Pakistan’s insufficiency by saying that it was India who was behind us when we started work in science and technology.
The Federal Minister emphasized that the nations would move ahead following the development of all the sectors.
