LAHORE: Prosecutor General Punjab Rana Arif Kamal Noon has sent the staff members of the Prosecutor General’s Office on leaves to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
After the approval of Prosecutor General Punjab, Deputy Prosecutor General Nasir Sial issued a notification in this regard. According to the notification, steps are being taken in light of the instructions of the Punjab government due to the coronavirus.
The issued notification states that all staff must comply with these instructions until further orders. The decision to send officers and employees on leave was taken in view of the spread of the coronavirus.
It is said that the unnecessary officers and employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office are living in the houses. The officers and employees would pay their duties online. Prosecutors and their staff will be on duty at the High Court.
It is directed that the officers and senior officers in charge of all the branches would ensure their attendance. Employees and officers would stay in their homes after the duty ends.
