ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has announced to run two special trains to facilitate the passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
These train services are anticipated to ferry passengers between Karachi and Lahore, as well as Karachi and Peshawar.
The Eid-special trains will be formally declared after the sighting of the Zilhajj moon, enabling travelers to organize their trips accordingly. Among these dedicated services, one will depart from Karachi, offering both economy class and air-conditioned coaches for passengers with diverse travel preferences bound for Lahore.
The second Eid-special train will journey from Karachi to Peshawar, exclusively providing economy class accommodations. This measure is aimed at ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers commuting to various destinations within Pakistan.
Earlier in March, the Railways had announced its intention to assist passengers during Eidul Fitr by introducing four special trains. According to the official notification, these special Eid trains were slated to operate on various routes throughout the country.
