LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has said that a complete lockdown was necessary due to the coronavirus.
Shehbaz Sharif in this regard issued a plan to supply food and medicine during a lockdown. Food and medicines should be provided from utility stores across the country, he added.
He further said that while using the telephone lines and mobile app to place orders from urban homes. The post office, NLC staff, and vehicles could also be used during a lockdown, he added.
He said that the armed forces, rangers, police, doctors, nurses, medical personnel, should be ensured that the safety of these frontline Soldiers should also be ensured.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif through a phone call discussed coronavirus situation with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
Shehbaz Sharif reached Pakistan earlier this week after a four-month stay in the United Kingdom and isolated himself at his Model Town residence in Lahore.
