Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa premiered on June 27, 2026, marking the reality show’s return with a revamped format, new hosts, and a new streaming home on Netflix India.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the second season introduces filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan and actor Riteish Deshmukh as the new jailers, replacing Kangana Ranaut, who hosted the inaugural season in 2022. The first edition was streamed on ALTBalaji and MX Player and won by comedian Munawar Faruqui.
The reboot carries the subtitle Sach Ya Sazaa (Truth or Punishment), highlighting the show’s refreshed concept while retaining its signature mix of controversy, competition, and personal revelations. This season also features a redesigned prison set and a shorter overall run.
The premise remains largely unchanged, with 15 controversial celebrities locked inside a prison-themed reality house where they compete for basic comforts, complete challenging tasks, and reveal personal secrets to win the support of both the hosts and viewers.
New episodes of Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa stream every week from Saturday to Wednesday at 8:00 PM, delivering five episodes weekly.
