KARACHI: Karachi is set to experience dry and cold weather during next three days.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), southwesterly winds or sea breezes, which have a calming effect on the city’s typically scorching weather, have been suspended. Instead, northeasterly winds from Balochistan will bring the temperature down.
Minimum temperature in Karachi could remain between 15 – 17 degree Celsius in next three days, the Met Office said.
Most of the province, especially upper Sindh, is anticipated to experience dry weather with cool nights and misty, foggy mornings.
In a previous weather report, the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted that there will likely be rising amounts of fog in the country’s plains, especially at night and in the morning.
The upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, Kashmir, North Balochistan, and Gilgit Baltistan were all expected to see extremely cold weather, according to the Met Office.
