In Sindh, including Karachi, heavy intermittent rains are expected from September 7 to 10, with the risk of urban flooding. In view of this, authorities have advised the public to exercise caution.
According to details, a low-pressure area is expected to reach Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Sindh on September 6. From the evening or night of September 6 until September 9, rain is expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas.
In addition, rain is also expected in Sanghar, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan.
There may be occasional rain in the outskirts of Karachi on September 7. From September 8 to 10, rain with thunder and lightning is expected at several locations in Karachi, according to the Meteorological Department.
Meteorologists say that heavy torrential rain may occur at some places in Karachi, and there is also a risk of water accumulation in low-lying areas and urban flooding.
